Trucktec Assist 24 looks after the commercial vehicles that keep Derby moving: tractor units and rigids, trailers, coaches, minibuses, vans and light commercials, and specialist vehicles including emergency-service vehicles. Derby's freight runs on a dense web of roads. The A38 forms part of the outer ring road, with roundabouts at Kingsway, Markeaton and Little Eaton; the A50 Derby Southern Bypass runs below the city towards the M1; Brian Clough Way carries the A52 out to Nottingham; and the A6 and A61 run through as well. Breakdowns on any of them go to 01332 916028, answered day and night, all year. We try to repair the vehicle where it has stopped, and recover it when that isn't safe or possible.
For planned work, the workshop is open Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 17:00. Whether your yard is at Pride Park, in Sinfin, Spondon, Alvaston or Chaddesden, or out towards Mickleover, Littleover or Allestree, you can book servicing, PMI safety inspections, annual test preparation, brake testing, diagnostics, coach and minibus work and curtain and welding repairs. Many faults can be fixed by our mobile technicians where the vehicle is parked, and operators who want one team for everything can put the whole fleet on a maintenance contract.
