Loughborough is a market town with three motorway junctions on its doorstep and four main roads running through it. Junction 23 of the M1 lies just west of the centre, junction 24 brings traffic in from the north along the A6 through Kegworth and Hathern, and junction 22 feeds the south-west side by way of Copt Oak and Nanpantan. The A60 starts here and heads north to Nottingham, Mansfield and Worksop, the A512 runs west towards the M1, Shepshed and Ashby-de-la-Zouch, and the A6004 ring road loops round the western and northern suburbs to the railway station.
Trucktec Assist 24 looks after the commercial vehicles that use those roads: HGVs, rigids, artics and trailers, coaches and minibuses, vans and light commercials, and specialist and emergency-service vehicles. When something fails on the motorway or the ring road, we try to repair it where it stands and recover it only when that isn't safe or possible. Servicing, PMI inspections, brake work and welding are done at our workshop at Calke Mill Farm, Melbourne, Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 17:00, and plenty of repairs can be carried out at your own yard instead.
The area we cover takes in the whole of Charnwood: Thorpe Acre, Dishley, Shelthorpe and Woodthorpe, the town of Shepshed, and the A6 corridor villages towards Leicester such as Quorn, Mountsorrel, Barrow upon Soar, Sileby and Syston.
