Sheffield built its name on steel, and the north-east of the city around the Lower Don Valley is still mainly industrial, from Attercliffe and Darnall to Brightside, Tinsley and Wincobank. a large steelworks still dominates that quarter, the Advanced Manufacturing Park sits just over the boundary in Rotherham, and Meadowhall stands on the site of the old East Hecla steelworks. With well over half a million residents, the city also keeps a large number of buses, coaches and service vehicles at work, running from Sheffield Interchange and Meadowhall and from the bus stations at Halfway and Hillsborough.
The M1 skirts the city's north-east and crosses the Tinsley Viaduct, with junctions 30 to 36 serving Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley and the M18 branching off at junction 32 towards Doncaster. Inside the city, the A57 and A61 cross in the centre, the Sheffield Parkway joins the centre to the motorway, and the inner ring road lets traffic avoid the middle of town.
Our workshop is at Melbourne in South Derbyshire, further down the M1 near junction 23a, so we are clear about what we offer here: the 24/7 breakdown and recovery line on 01332 916028, mobile repairs at your yard or the roadside, and fleet maintenance contracts that keep trips to the workshop for the jobs that need one.
